Abstract

This article has for objective the formation of a legal scholar attentive to the matters of the Brazilian context. After decades of importing without due critic foreign models, it is necessary to recognize that, in spite of globalization, there are peculiarities that are determinant of our political, sociological and, thus, legal tradition that cannot be forgotten by the legal scholar. It is up to the contemporary civilian, more than ever, the task of building a Brazilian private law.
