Notas sobre a promessa de doação

Under various arguments, it has been affirmed that there would be no reason for not admitting the preliminary contract of donation, as if the repugnance that it has arisen in the past wasn’t, nowadays, so conspicuous. In fact, admitting unfulfilled promises, when their configuration is fully contractual, doesn’t seem, in current days, an ethically adequate or morally sustainable behavior. This article seeks to examine the problem of the promise of donation and its mandatory effects in the light of the values of contemporary private law.
