The Protection of the Human Person in Brazil

Abstract

One must always take into account the measure of the vulnerability of the human person. Polemics related to human rights, to fundamental rights or personality rights refer to the necessity of attributing normativity to the rights of the person, favoring the realization of the principle of human dignity and the best way to protect it, wherever that necessity might come to be. The numerous difficulties found in the search of the adequate measure of protection of the human person serve only to confirm the affirmation of the main object of the contemporary private law: the full development of the project of life of each person in the widest possible measure.
