The Copyright Applicable to Architectural Works

Abstract

The work analyzes copyright protections on architectural works. After a brief presentation on copyright, focusing on its aspect of moral law, we tried to detail the characteristics of the architectural project and the art of designing, shedding light on the intimate relationship, despite the subtleties, between the architectural work and the concepts aesthetic. We also explore legal protections at the national and international levels to clarify to what extent architectural works are protected by copyright and how the Courts have resolved disputes involving these issues.
