Abstract

The problem related to acts of disposition of one’s own body and especially to the possibility of concluding valid and effective contracts which have as their object the human body or its parts is related not only to the strictly legal field but also to ethics, moral and religion. Besides, one must take into account that the technological development over the last years has changed drastically the way of understanding the person and, thus, from the years 1990s on, the traditional concept of individual and of body has entered into a crisis, demanding redefinition.
