Differences between the Right to Be Forgotten in Brazil and in Germany

This article presents a current overview regarding the right to be forgotten in Germany and Brazil, explaining the origin of the institute and the civil law mechanisms used to enforce it. Research has shown that the topic still creates legal uncertainty in Brazil. In this scenario, the German experience may contribute to the development of the right to be forgotten in Brazil.
