Abstract

The article seeks to analyse the psychophysical autonomy, as well as the aspects that should be taken into account in the moment of weighting values, in cases where there is conflict of interests. It also aims at demonstrating the importance of finding a balance between individual freedom and state intervention, since an exaggerated paternalism may undermine the free development of citizens’ personality.
