Abstract

This article seeks to evidence the necessity of a consumer law clearly defined in law and formulated in its content in a clear and unmistakable way. This law is indispensable for a balanced and harmonious strength relation between furnishers and consumers, an aspiration that is present both at national and European levels and that is impossible to be taken away from our current legal life. Consumer law serves for the protection of the structurally weaker contract party in the consumer relation – that is, the vulnerable party – against disadvantages or unexpected actions by the other party.
