Abstract

With the enactment of the Federal Constitution of 1988, Brazilian law was imbued with its values ​​and fundamental principles. The conceptual dimensions of family were expanded to protect the various forms of formation that actually exist in the country. In this scenario, multi-parenthood is the legal possibility for a person to have multiple parental ties, both biological and socio-affective, in their records, thus reflecting their life reality.
